Building Better Readers Training

Thank you to everyone who attended our Building Better Readers training.  We look forward to offering this event again in Fall 2022.

GOALS AND BENEFITS OF BUILDING BETTER READERS

• • A balanced format with recommended activities
  • Learn “reader’s tools” to help young readers make out the meaning of text
  • Children receive individual support which can help improve the confidence of a struggling reader
  • Personal attention from volunteers can foster an enthusiasm for reading
  • Building Better Readers training is provided by SERVE and is required to participate in the Mary Bryant Building Better Readers program.

You must attend the Building Better Readers Training in order to volunteer in the Building Better Readers Program.

If you’ve attended the Ready Reader Training in a prior year, you do not need to attend.
